Film evening for Prideweek 2023
The film “When We Danced” is a 2019 production directed by Levan Akin and set in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi. It shows the love story of the two dancers Merab and Irakli. “When We Danced” gives the viewer insights into experiences of hardship of queer people moving in conservative environments and deals with themes such as identity, tradition, homophobia and the search for personal freedom. Salzgeber Film interviewed the director.
Due to renovations at “Das Kino”, the Pride film evening will be shown at Nonntal University this year instead. Admission 8€
