Rockhouse and HOSI join forces: Pride Session with AYMZ
The HOSI Salzburg and the Rockhouse are starting a new, joint format: At the first Pride Session on 6.4.2023, AYMZ will present some songs from their debut “PYROLYSE” as an acoustic set. AYMZ will be accompanied by Dominik Wendl (Please Madame) on guitar, among others. Afterwards there will be a round of talks with AYMZ and the audience.
AYMZ (fka Amy Wald) had already made a name for herself in the music scene with airplay on Ö3 and numerous German radio stations, appearances at major festivals and a nomination for the Amadeus Music Award. After coming out as non-binary, there was also a new artistic start in 2022: under the name AYMZ. Personal border crossings, conflicts with one’s own queerness and the establishment up to one’s own catharsis: this is what AYMZ tells about in the songs from the debut album. With the Pride Sessions, HOSI and Rockhouse set an example for queer artists: Together they want to make diversity in the music scene visible.
