Queer search for traces
The Museum der Moderne and HOSI Salzburg go in search of queer traces in the exhibition “Opening Spaces“
The Museum der Moderne Salzburg is continuing its series of events Queere Spurensuche in cooperation with HOSI Salzburg. Ines Kirchschläger, Felix Kosek and Fabian Pichlmayr from HOSI, together with Toni Ofner, art mediator, will guide visitors through the exhibition ‘Opening Spaces’. Together, queer perspectives will be opened up and made visible. Gender, power, collective and individual spaces of memory are the topics of the discussion.
The exhibition “Opening Spaces“ sheds light on how space, body and media are interdependent. It focusses on interfaces, intermediate spaces and transitions and expands the museum space to include spaces of action, experience and memory. It spans an arc from classical modernism to the new media.
