Easter Festival
In 2020, the Easter Festival will present a special version of Giuseppe Verdi’s Don Carlo, the opera in four acts based on Friedrich Schiller’s drama of the same name, with an instrumental prologue by Manfred Trojahn. In the orchestra concert, Christian Thielemanns conducts, among others, the Sächsische Staatskapelle with Sofia Gubaidulina’s “The Wrath of God for Orchestra”.
