Salzburg has a lot to offer with bars & restaurants. The LGBT scene bars are located in the Andräviertel, not far from each other. It’s easy to move from house to house at night. Salzburg is also a top culinary city: of course there are many restaurants with very good Austrian cuisine. But cuisines from almost every country are also represented here.

Academy Bar

The academy bar in Franz-Josef-Straße is a neighbourhood pub in the vibrant Andräviertel. It is particularly popular with students and provides a space for artistic live events with its in-house stage. The bar inspires with its creatively decorated interior and a large selection of beers - in the guest garden or in the couch area.

Café am Kai

The Café am Kai with its beautiful garden is picturesquely located on the banks of the Salzach at the Müllner Steg. From here you have a great view of the old town. The Café am Kai offers a variety of breakfasts, homemade cakes and pastries and a wide selection of drinks - for a little break from the hectic daily routine.

Café Wernbacher

Lively, old Viennese coffee house culture in the Andräviertel in Franz-Josef-Strasse. Breakfast, lunch, coffee gossip. Café Wernbacher is a time capsule from the middle of the last century. It has always been a popular meeting place for artists, intellectuals and people of all genres, a place for interesting encounters.

Daimlers

Cosy bar with adjoining late-night grill on the first floor. Good against hunger at night are the "best burgers in town". Hearty food from organic beef and regional suppliers. In the pub district around Steingasse at Staatsbrücke. A good place to go, even for late, hungry night owls.

Dark Eagle

The Dark Eagle is located in the Andräviertel and is the only bar in Salzburg with a cruising area and versatile game rooms in the basement. Host Wolfgang always has a friendly ear for all guests. The leather and fetish scene from the region meets here. The Dark Eagle is also the club bar of the LMC Salzburg.

Fungo‘s Bar

Stefan runs a meeting place for a colourful crowd in his small bar on Steingasse. The bar is small but cosy. And the forecourt is the ideal place to watch the night owls in the lively district around Steingasse and perhaps let yourself drift along towards the Andräviertel or the old town at some point.

HOSI Bar

Öffentliche Bar der Homosexuellen Initiative Salzburg (HOSI). Hier finden auch der monatliche Fetischabend des LMC Salzburg, die Frauenparty „Ladies Night“ und diverse unregelmäßige Veranstaltungen und Partys statt. Die HOSI-Bar ist ein guter Anlaufpunkt, um sich über das queere Leben in Salzburg zu informieren.

Jazzit Musicclub Salzburg

Narrencastl

Neighbourhood pub with a colourful audience (not only from the neighbourhood) in the Lehen district of Salzburg, right next to the Aiglhof S-Bahn station. Since last year, the "Magic Garage", four travesty artists whose show has not been seen in Salzburg for a long time, has been performing irregularly on the cabaret stage.

Shakespeare

Wolfgang Schwaiger has been running the Shakespeare on Mirabellplatz since the mid-1980s, a hospitable space for art and culinary delights.
