The CSD in Salzburg this year will also be a big come-together of the European leather and fetish scene

Gernot Lindner – Mr. Leather Austria 2016. Since his term as Mr. Leather Austria 2016, Gernot has been tirelessly working for tolerance and against homophobia. For example, he has organized the monthly fetish event at HOSI Salzburg “HOSI goes Fetish” for seven years, which still takes place today. And he is very well networked internationally. This explains why half the who’s who of the European leather and fetish scene will be at the Salzburg Pride from September 4 to 6.

Martin Mayr – Mr. Leather Austria 2019/20 in the self-portrayal on the website of LMC Vienna: “For me fetish is part of my sexual and personal development and self-determination. It is a concern for me that others also live freely and self-determined and can discover and talk about their fetishes.” This is the maxim on Martin’s countless trips in the office. Next weekend also at the Salzburg Pride.

Torsten Burandt from Hesse was elected as the new Mr. Fetish Germany 2019/20 in November 2019. With his office he wants to enrich the diverse rainbow family. Dignity, respectful treatment, appreciation, solidarity, openness and honesty are for him the basis of his voluntary work, which will also take him to the Salzburg Pride this year.

Werner Oberli is the reigning Mr Leather Switzerland. Werner wants to educate and build bridges as a leather man. The leather man, who lives in the Bern area, works on various projects for the Aids-Hilfe Bern. On his Facebook page he writes: “One of my main concerns in my term as Mr Leather Switzerland 2020 is to support the queer community and also to give the incentive to meet each other again with more respect.” That’s what he’s doing, among other things, from 4 to 6 September at the Salzburg Pride.

Gael Leung Chong is the reigning Mr Leather Begium. According to the statutes of the representing club, the MSC Belgium, the Mr. Leather represents the leather and fetish community in Belgium and beyond on an international level. As a rolemodel, he is supposed to contribute to being able to be who you are. And to counter prejudices and homophobia, which are especially widespread in the fetish scene. This mission leads him to the Salzburg Pride from 4 to 6 September.

Salzburg Pride – we are there!

Many other sash wearers from the European leather and fetish scene have announced their coming. For example the reigning Mr. Leather Netherlands Stephan Metzlar-Rudolph, Mr. Bear Poland 2019 Tom Siara or the Bavarian Mr. Leather 2020 Benji Waters. It will be an international meeting of the leather and fetish scene in Salzburg like rarely. And since Salzburg is not Paris or Berlin, black will be quite a dominant color in the manageable Andräviertel next weekend. We are there!
