Kaprun
Kaprun is located in the province of Salzburg at the entrance to the Hohe Tauern National Park on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area. The Kitzsteinhorn is part of the Glockner group, which rises up to 3200 metres. From Kaprun, the K-ONNECTION, a cable car, leads directly to the ski area, which is Salzburg’s highest. Kaprun is particularly suitable for winter sports activities.
