The Dark Eagle celebrates its 8th birthday
Eight years ago, Wolfgang Feichtinger founded the Dark Eagle in Salzburg. After personal upheavals, it was time for a fresh start. And the idea of a bar for gays had been with Wolfgang for 30 years. Until 8 years ago, he lacked the means and the opportunity. In 2015, the time had come.
Since then, Wolfgang has been running the Dark Eagle Salzburg with dedication. Wolfgang is the Dark Eagle. You’ll know that once you’ve been there and experienced Wolfgang’s charming approach to every guest. Wolfgang likes it when tourists meet locals and socialise. “I think that’s cool!” says the almost 60-year-old.
Wolfgang has been organising Sexy Sunday Afternoon on the third Sunday for about a year now. The underwear party on Sunday afternoons is the only gay sex party in Salzburg and is becoming increasingly popular. The dates are fixed until May 2024. “I love my job,” says Wolfgang. That bodes well for the next 8 years. Happy Birthday 😉
