Artist Talk and Performance
The Viennese artist David Meran (*1991) combines art yoga, yoga exercises and his personal artistic practice in his mediation action. Using his own body in tension and relaxation, he creates humorous and performative moments full of insight, self-overestimation and self-optimization.

Social codes and conventions of the fitness industry are translated into sculptures made of unconventional materials, with aesthetic couplings or breaks, in the solo exhibition “Stehvermögen” at Galerie Haas&Gschwandtner at Neutor.
In conversation with Martina Pohn, director of the gallery, the question of what sculpture 2020 can do is explored. Together with the visitors, contents and materials that are strongly charged by society will be explored.
