The Longest Night of Drag by and with the Magic Garage
On 21 June, there will be a brilliant drag show – The Longest Night of Drag at ARGE Kultur. From 9pm, 16 performers who are now part of the Magic Garage will take to the stage. The Magic Garage is Salzburg’s drag show, normally held at the Narrencastl in Salzburg Lehen. Last year, the Magic Garage also performed at other venues, but never on a stage as big as the ARGE.
The performers will slip into different roles and tell their stories to the audience in a quirky, comedic, burlesque and frivolous way. Afterwards there will be a party. With music by dj_canyouhirmi. “Some girl from Salzburg playing awesome trashy pop songs from the early 2000s and 90s” as she writes about herself on her Instagarm account. This will probably be a queer party highlight in Salzburg this year. (All photos: LaCastl)
