Off into the night!

Since yesterday (1.07.2021), significantly relaxed Corona rules have been in force in Austria. This mainly affects the (night) gastronomy. The curfew has been abolished. This means that bars and clubs are once again free to decide on their opening hours. The obligation to wear masks in pubs and at the bar is history. However, the 3G rule still applies. Every visitor must be proven tested, vaccinated or recovered. And the registration requirement also remains. Gastronomic locations without seats may only be 75% occupied until July 22. The Hosi announced yesterday that its old opening hours as before the crisis are back. The HOSI bar is open Wednesdays and Fridays from 7pm to midnight and Saturdays from 8pm to 1am. On Fridays, Ladies Night (1st Fri) and “LMC Salzburg goes Fetish” (3rd Fri) can also take place again without registration. The Dark Eagle is now open again on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8pm to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays 8pm to 2am. Admission to the basement game rooms is €10, which includes a drink. Mexxx also returns to its pre-Corona hours, so open daily from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., and until 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. And Stefan from the Fungo Bar in Steingasse is also open again on a regular basis.

Off into the night!

So you can slowly but surely get used to familiar going out again. Unlike a year ago, when we had to be out well before sunset to have anything at all from going out. Good thing! On July 22nd, further relaxations are to come into force, for example the then 100% occupancy of unseated night gastronomy, such as discotheques. Let’s hope that it stays that way.
