After a two-year break due to Corona, the culinary festival eat&meet invites you to a variety of events in Salzburg’s old town from 6 to 22 May 2022. A culinary get-together that we have missed so much in the last two years.

In the fourteenth year after the first festival, excellent chefs and restaurateurs will once again bring the culinary creativity and diversity of Salzburg’s old town to life at eat&meet 2022. With a total of over 100 gourmet events between 6 and 22 May 2022, eat&meet offers exciting discussions and entertaining infotainment on the topic of food culture and the art of cooking. Good conversations, eventful encounters with local producers and chefs and interesting personalities from culture, art and literature as well as the cosy get-togethers in the very varied gastro locations fill eat&meet with life.

“Towards each other!”

This year, the focus of all events is on communicative encounters and “reaching out to each other”. The focus should be on what we have been missing most in the past months: The encounter with other people in the public of a hospitable house. eat&meet wants to encourage table parties and in-depth conversations with old friends or new acquaintances.

The programme of this year’s eat&meet festival is as varied and colourful as the gastronomy and restaurant scene in Salzburg’s old town. From a finely coordinated 6-course menu including wine accompaniment to a rustic Weißwurst (white sausage) breakfast. The tasty highlights are embedded in multifaceted events.

Ladies brunch at the Fidelen Affen

For example, there will be an animal-themed culinary fashion show at the Salzburger Heimatwerk, an artful breakfast at the DomQuartier or a vegan lunch at the St. Peter Stiftskulinarium. The programme includes tastings of various spirits at the Sporer Liqueur and Punch Manufactory as well as a ladies’ brunch with female entrepreneurs from various industries at the Fidelen Affen. Or a shopping trip to the market with Andreas Gfrerer, the owner of the Blaue Gans hotel and restaurant. Lots of exciting things to do with food & drink – in company. That is eat&meet 2022 in Salzburg.
